FUMIO YAMAGUCHI APPOINTED PRESIDENT AND CEO

Internationally Experienced Executive, Fumio Yamaguchi Sees Bright Future for Ikegami's Product Line as World's Broadcasters Transition to DTV and HDTV

MAYWOOD N.J., MARCH 31, 2009 - Ikegami Electronics, the world-leading manufacturer of advanced high definition television (HDTV) production solutions for broadcast and professional video applications, has announced the appointment of Fumio Yamaguchi as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ikegami Electronics U.S.A., Inc.

A 30-year veteran of Ikegami, Yamaguchi began his career at the Company's Tokyo headquarters, working with such major clients as NHK Japan Broadcasting Corp. Yamaguchi also served as the General Manager of Ikegami U.K. for six years, as the Vice President of Ikegami Electronics Europe (in Germany) for two years, and - most recently - as Director of the GFSeries Product Group at Ikegami Electronics U.S.A., Inc.

Ikegami's products will be exhibited throughout NAB 2009 at Booth No. C-5108 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 20 to 23.
