Top Remote Company Outfits NCP V with Twelve Ikegami HDK-79E HD Cameras and Seven SE-79D System Expanders

Las Vegas - NAB 2004: : Ikegami HD cameras are the newest passengers to ride with leading remote video production company New Century Productions (NCP Video). Their HD truck, NCP V, will capture crisp imagery for sports and entertainment with twelve Ikegami HDK-79E HD cameras, equipped with seven SE-79D System Expanders.

Onboard NCP V, the 79E cameras from Ikegami feature 2.2 million pixel 2/3-inch FIT CCDs, 12bit A/D conversion/38-bit internal digital processing circuits, and multi-standard simultaneous broadcasting. The cameras are purchased with the new TA/CB-79HD triax system. When the CB-79HD is used with the CCU-790A either triax or fiber camera cable can be used without any reconfiguration of the mobile unit. Either the triax adapter TA-79HD or fiber adapter FA-79 can be mounted to the docking style HDK-79E permitting use of the cable type preferred for each event.

The SE-79D System Expander enables the use of the 7-inch viewfinder and full studio lenses with the HDK-79E, converting the portable camera into a full facility studio camera. Installation of the camera into the SE-79D is very easy, and conversion back to portable configuration is quick for maximum operating flexibility.
