The HDK-79EXNA is expanded by the state of the art in which Ikegami HDTV technologies are completely harmonized. To meet the demands of gyro mount, jib arm mount, and other special shooting including POV applications, Ikegami introduces a new HDTV camera with extended optical block. The camera consists of the separated optical block connected by multicore cable to a camera body containing the latest video processing circuitry.

• 2/3-inch Optical system and 2,200,000-pixel FIT CCDs
  2/3-inch 2.2M pixel 1080i FIT CCDs are employed to achieve superb picture quality with a horizontal resolution of 1,000 TV lines. The optical block also utilizes the standard 2/3-inch format HD lens mount, so a full range of HD lenses is available.

• Full Digital and High Picture Quality
  Using newly developed digital process ICs, precision designed at 0.18-micro meter rule, the video signals are digitized with 12-bit A/D conversion and up to 38-bit internal digital processing circuit. As non-linear processing such as gamma correction is performed digitally, consistent and repetitive high picture quality and stable reliability is assured.

• HD-SDI Outputs at the Camera Body
  Two (2) HD-SDI outputs are available at the camera body.

• Flexible Cable
  The standard cable between separated optical block and camera body is 10 meters (up to 50m maximum) using a thin, light weight multicore cable. Longer cable distance is available as special factory order (up to 100m maximum).

• Remote Control Panel System
  The camera body includes control panel connector allowing the full range of Ikgeami control panels to be used.

• Hyper Gain Up
  Using the specified optical system and noise reduce technology, Hyper Gain function achieves a minimum illumination of 0.5lx/f1.4 (with +42dB gain-up)
