Ikegami recommends the use of SMPTE hybrid fiber/copper camera cable for use with its HD cameras. A cabling system has been developed which permits easy installation, pulling reinforced "riser" rated bulk cable and terminating with telecommunication industry standard fiber and copper connectors. The system also features exceptional serviceability. All cabling materials are available from Ikegami, including installation assistance by Ikegami field engineering. This provides the end user with the convenience of one source for design and ordering, and the added assurance the camera cabling will perform to specification together with the Ikegami cameras.
