The HL-59WNA is a multifunctional high-performance digital processing camera that enables you to shoot at various camera angles by separating the optical block from the camera body. The distance between the camera body and optical block can be extended to 20m. The camera section is designed based on the HL-59W, a broadcast-quality 10-bit digital processing camera, so it delivers high image quality with rock - solid stability. Switchable operation between 16:9 and 4:3 is also supported. The optical block is compact and lightweight. It achieves a minimum illumination of 0.25Ix/fl.4 (with +42dB gain-up). It is ideally suited for helicopter gyro-stabilized systems.

• Even when the camera body and optical block are separated from each other, you can operate as usual with the easily accessible camera switches. It is ideally suited for operation as a gyro-stabilized camera system.

• By docking the optical block in the camera head, the camera can be operated in a similar manner as the HL-59W.

• It employs newly developed 520,000 pixel IT CCD image sensors. It assures excellent performance even in 16:9 extended mode of operation: modulation depth of 70%, sensitivity of f11.0, S/N ratio of 62dB or more, with smear of 120dB.

• With newly developed digital processing ASICs, the processes subsequent to PRE KNEE are all digitized. High image quality is attained at all times with digital-specific stability.

• The operation is readily switchable between 16:9 and 4:3.

• Hyper Gain function achieves a minimum illumination of 0.25 lx/f1.4 (with +42dB Gain-up).

• Various digital DTL functions, such as Variable Boost Frequency (variable in steps), Diagonal DTL (contour correction in diagonal direction), and Skin DTL are incorporated to facilitate flexible and creative videography.
