The TA-593/BS-593 is Ikegami's state-of-the-art triax cable extension system that delivers long- haul wideband component transmission (bandwidth: 10MHz) over a maximum of 2,100 meters (FUJIKURA dia 14.5mm), without compromising high image quality captured by a camera. The system comes standard with three SDI component serial digital outputs to support digital broadcasting at high levels of sophistication, while retaining compatibility with Ikegami's conventional models. When installed on a small OB van or SNG truck, this full-fledged triax cable extension system offers exceptional performance in field maneuverability, satisfying the whole gamut of needs, from news gathering to production, with the best quality possible.

• The TA-593 supports the Q-TV signal and has a 26-pin VTR connector (both optional). When connected to the HL Unicam Series cameras, it can be interfaced with the BS-388 base station.
• The BS-593 is compact (4U half-rack size) and equipped with three component serial digital (SMPTE 259M-compliant: 270Mbps) outputs as standard. When combined with the TA-388P, it can be interfaced with the HK-388P/PW.
• The RCP-50 (BS-593's control panel section) features an LCD touch panel to permit full remote control of a digital camera, despite its compact size. FUNCTION CALL that can save up to four oft-used functions is provided as the user area. Furthermore, it supports a memory card (SmartMedia').
