Impressive Number of SDI Input
A total of 72 inputs are enough to support a number of multi-rate sources. Up to 48 sources inputs (including DVE source), and up to 24 external Keys sources inputs (including DVE Keys).

Outputs
There are up to 12 M/E outputs (MK/PGM/CLEAN/PVW), and 8 AUX outputs. A total of 28 outputs are available with additional 8 outputs by Optional 4ch DVE. Re-clock processing to all AUX outputs make it possible to add optional AVDL ON/OFF function to each output.

HDTV/SDTV Conversion
Each output can be switched between HDTV format or SDTV format.

YE Bus
4 AUX outputs can be used as a VE bus to monitor all inputs (V/K/MK), irrespective or whether they are HDTV or SDTV signals

Up to 4 M/E, 4 KEY and 4 SUP available
Each M/E, KEY and SUP can be switched between HDTV and SDTV. A single sup can control 2 self- or external-key feeds (NAM). Additionally, all 4 SUP can be bundled as a DSK. Finally, up to 4 optional DVE channels can be connected to the HSS-2000.

Compact and low power consumption design
The high density PLD allows a compact 15RU form factor, while the highly efficient power-supply and low-voltage IC means lower power consumption.

Redundant power supply
The power-supply module can be swapped out easily, while the chassis has room for a second power-supply unit for redundancy.

Flexibility
Apart from a 4 M/E configuration, the system can be set up as a 3 M/E or 2 M/E system. The number out outputs can also be tailored to the user's needs.

Memory Function for M/E
All settings can be stored in stored in memory and recalled at a touch of a button.
