The ICD-42A is a high-sensitivity, high-resolution B/W
surveillance camera developed with 1/2" Frame Transfer
CCD imaging and state-of-the-art video technology,
specifically designed to provide an excellent response
when used with Infrared lighting. It delivers a sharp
picture under poor illumination conditions, as low as
about 0.06 lux at Fl.2 and also supports near-infrared
light imaging, so it unleashes outstanding performance,
especially for surveillance during night-time or other low
light applications. The ICD-42A is packed with a host
of performance features all built into its compact body,
including Auto Black Level Correction to automatically
compensate for a decrease in picture contrast when
operating under near-infrared light conditions; H.
DETAIL function to enhance resolution; and Backlight
Compensation to effectively compensate for extreme
background lighting conditions.
