The ICD-500 is a color CCD camera that employs a 1/3" CCD with unparalleled and perforance.
In addition to having a high resolution of 330 lines and a minimum object illumination of 2 lux (fl.4), this
camera comes with AESC (Automatic Electronic Shutter Control) function to automatically reproduce
optimum images without the need for an auto iris lens. The BLC (Backlight Compensation) function prevents
underexposure of the back-lit subject for reproduction of natural-looking images. Furthermore, the ICD-500
employs the use of DC and Video-type auto iris circuitry and its line lock synchronization scheme allows the
ICD-500 to be incorporated into existing security camera systems and support a set up of multiple security
cameras.
