The ICD-503 (NTSC) / ICD-503P (PAL) are color cameras that employ a 1/3" CCD with unparalleled performance. In addition to having high resolution of 330 Horizontal TV lines and a minimum object illumination of 1.0 lux (fl.2), these cameras include an AES (Automatic Electronic Shutter) function which automatically reproduces optimum images without the need for an auto iris lens. The BLC (Back Light Compensation) function prevents underexposure of a back-lit object, thus reproducing a natural looking image. Furthermore, the ICD-503/ ICD-503P allow for the use of both DC and Video-Type auto iris lenses. A line lock synchronization system enables both the ICD-503/ICD-503P to be incorporated into existing security camera systems and supports multiple camera installations.
