Remotely Controllable Digital Processing Color Video Camera


 

The ICD-700 (NTSC)/700P (PAL) is a digital processing color video camera employing a high- performance on-chip microlens CCD vath 330,000 pixels (NTSC), 390,000 pixels (PAL) developed for higher resolution, sensitivity and S/N ratio. DSP (Digital Signal Processor) based digital circuitry ensures high levels of stability and top quality pictures to meet various user application needs. A host of features such as BLC, AESC and Camera ID are built into its compact body. With the aid of the RCU-701 remote set-up unit (option), various camera functions can be set up easily and quickly, even for cameras that are installed at elevated or inaccessible places.

  • High Sensitivity-High Resolution
    1/2" on-chip-microlens CCD, 330,000 (NTSC), 390,000 (PAL) pixels deliver high sensitivity, minimum illuminations 2.5/Fl.4 (0.98Lux vath F0.8 lens), and high resolution, more than 430TV lines. It can produce a clear video image even under low iuumination.
  • Back Light Compensation Function (BLC)
    When the masking area has been set-up, any highlights in this area will not adversely affect the desired subject area. The BLC area can be programmed via 25 accessible zones.
  • Automatic Electronic Shutter Control Function (AESC)
    AESC function of 1:500 (NTSC), 1: 600 (PAL) sensitivity ratios is provided. Any change in the illumination of the imaging area win cause the ICD-700/700P to adjust the sensitivity automatically. This vAn allow a fixed-iris lens to be used in place of an auto-iris lens in certain applications.
    *The AESC range corresponds to settings F1.4 to F31 (NTSC), F1.4 to F34 (PAL) of the auto-iris lens.
  • Camera ID Function
    Up to 16 characters of alphabet letters, numbers and symbols, may be selected on the camera screen.
  • Y/C Output
    Y/C video output, in addition to composite video output, is provided. Setting up the system with the monitor and VTR equipped Y/C input, it deliver clearer video imaging and recording.
