The ICD-840 incorporates the latest advanced technologies in CCD sensor development by utilizing a 1/2" IT CCD color chip with 460 lines of horizontal resolution. Other full line features such as, RGB output, separate Y-C output, external sync input, 8 mode electronic shutter, etc., elevates the ICD-840 into a multi-dimensional CCD camera. The ICD-840 knows no limits demanded by today's hi-tech marketplace. It has the specifications, features, quality, and name to satisfy every scientific, medical, industrial, image processing, CCTV application.

FEATURES
  • High-Resolution/High Sensitivity
    The 1/2. CCD sensor employs 470,000 pixels, to combine high resolution with high sensitivity, producing 460 TV lines of horizontal resolution with a minimum illumination rated at about 5 lux. (Fl.4). [2.5 lux. available by internal gain switch, 2 times gain up]
  • LSI Circuit and Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
    The ICD-840 is a color-distortion-free single chip camera. A densely packed configuration of LSI circuits and surface mount technology (SMT) is employed to provide a compact design and ensure stable color reproduction with enhanced performance.
  • RGB Output. Separate Y-C output
    As well as its composite video output, the camera features an output connector that outputs either RGB video/sync signals or separate luminance (Y).chrominance (C) signals (selectable by an internal switch). With the RGB output, the camera can be directly connected to a device that requires an RGB signal.
  • 8-mode Electronic Shutter
    An internal switch-selectable 8.mode (1/100, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000, 1/10000) electronic shutter is incorporated to cover a wide range of applications.
  • For Image Processing
    ICD-840 is the optimum camera for image processing with RGB separate output. It can be directly connected to the RGB input type video unit or image processing unit.
