Ultra-Compact Digital Processing Color Video Camera



 

The Ikegami PV-7A is a 1/2" CCD ultra-compact two-piece color camera employing Digital Signal Processing Circuitry. The PV-7A micro-head color camera connects to the CCU via a 3.5m (I 1.4ft.), cable. The PV-7A offers an amazing 480 horizontal TV line resolution for crisp color detail with a minimum low light object sensitivity of 5 Lux (.05 fc), at fl.4. Other features of the Ikegami PV-7A include both standard and Y/C video outputs; Genlock input; Auto White Balance (AWB) circuit for superior color rendition; Auto Electronic Shutter Control (AESC) for use of non-auto iris lenses and a DC-powered CCU for both portable and permanent applications. Some of the Ikegami PV-7A accessories which can be purchased include a selection of micro-size lenses; C-mount adapter for use of standard-type lenses; an AC power pack which allows the PV-7A to be powered from a 120VAC source and more. The Ikegami PV-7A is ideal for all color applications where space and portability are required. The PV-7A can even be utilized for vehicle applications such as school buses, trains, planes and even for police and military applications. The PV-7A's CCU is so small it can be hidden inside a pocket for covert applications.
