IKEGAMI SUPPLIES MAJOR HD UPGRADE TO TV ASAHI CORPORATION

24 Cameras, 700 HD/SD Monitors, New OTC-One Touch Control Systems Part of Massive Package for Japanese Broadcaster with 26 Local Affiliates

Maywood, NJ - February 27, 2004: Ikegami, a leader in digital television technology, has announced it will provide HD equipment and integration services as part of a major upgrade to TV Asahi Corporation's state of the art facility in Roppongi, Tokyo. Ikegami will be supplying 24 HD camera systems, 700 HD and SD multi-format monitors, its new OTC - One Touch Control systems, multi-format digital switchers and audio mixers, plus 24-hour transmitter repeater savers.

TV Asahi is one of the country's premier broadcasters, with 26 local affiliates that extend coverage across the entire Japanese archipelago. The Ikegami OTC, installed at the new Roppongi facility, is a unique product with a compact, economical design that enables outlying area studios to quickly meet digital broadcasting requirements for emergency situations. With more than 30 OTC units already delivered to TV stations in suburban areas, this sale marks the first in the Tokyo area.
